Phishing (Definition)

Identity theft where someone fraudulently attempts to scam other person into providing passwords, credit card information or bank information. These emails are often sent looking like they come from a major bank and asks the user to click on a spoofed link to provide sensitive information. U.S. Senator Patrick Leahy introduced the "Anti-Phishing Act of 2005".
