I did not change any settings in my mail client, but outgoing mail stopped working. Why?

There are a few possible reasons:
1. Your ISP closed the port your mail program was set to or you changed ISP and the new one does not permit outgoing email on that port. We generally recommend port 2525, and we support ports 25, 25025 and 2082 as well.
2. Your account with SMTP.com has expired or you have reached the monthly relay limit. These details are stated on your account page. To check your monthly usage, login to the following page: http://www.smtp.com/login
